The Unnamable: a Lounge/LUX project
Lounge Gallery and Studios – Exhibitions, 20th April – 28th May 2006.
“With a nod to Samuel Beckett, The Unnamable is loosely themed around the notion of gaps in language and experience(…)”
I haven’t been to this gallery before but since it is pretty much in my back garden (oh, if only i had one) and its organised in collaboration with Lux, I will definitely be checking it out.
Ben Tanner – Photographer
Have a look at friend and artist Ben Tanner’s art portolio, especially the “titled” series of works, like Pictures of People Having Their Photograph Taken.

Christian Kuras Art
Christian Kuras AKA North has gone live with his beautiful new art portfolio website – his work is pretty good too! This image is of his installation ‘drone’, shown at Artspeak gallery in Vancouver earlier this year – www.bathosphere.org/christiankuras.
The Storr – Skye
The Storr: Unfolding Landscape was a nightime walk I went on in Skye this September. Myself and up to 200 other people walked for over 2 hours and climbed 700ft accompanied by sound, light, music and performance. Read a full description here www.24hourmuseum.org.uk and see the photos page for more images.
See my slideshow of some of the official photos of the Unfolding Landscape walk
Rhizome – internet art exhibition
Don’t miss the chance to check out some classic internet art projects on Rhizome ArtBase 101 – an exhibtion which surveys salient themes in Internet art, a practice that has flourished in the last ten years. Some of these works are only available for free online viewing until September 10th.
Real Estate – ICA
As part of london in Six Easy Steps at the ICA, curatorial partnership B+B have developed Real Estate as a response to the use and ownership of land in a city currently preparing for the 2012 Olympics and threatened with terrorist attacks.
Look out for the documentary and community-led television production company Spectacle‘s involvement in particular.
